26 But [a]regarding the fact that the dead rise again, have you not read in the book of Moses, (A)in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘(B)I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? 27 (C)He is not the God [b]of the dead, but of the living; you are greatly mistaken.”
28 (D)One of the scribes came and heard them arguing, and (E)recognizing that He had answered them well, asked Him, “What commandment is the [c]foremost of all?”
